Silent Air Compressors from Fridge Compressors

A few ppl have asked for more info on using a fridge compresssor as an air pump in the past so I thought I’d show y’all my silent compressors to give an idea on how to construct one. The most important thing is a pressure regulator and cut-out switch to ensure the tank dosn;t over pressurize and burst. these compressors can put out a lot of pressure. The Tandem sc15′s that i have as a permanent workshop compressor barely become warm when charging the tank from dead flat to 100 PSI, they are rated at roughly 3/4 HP each and have no trouble seating tire beads, spray painting or running a small sand blaster.

BIG TRUCK LUG WRENCH TORQUE MULTIPLIER TOOL NO IMPACT OR AIR COMPRESSOR NEEDED

mic-tools.com is where to go to buy one of my new torque multiplier lug wrenches for your truck. If you’ve ever had trouble removing stubborn and overtightened lug nuts from your big truck with regular hand wrenches, you will be amazed. It works exactly as show in this video. With a ratio of almost 60 it will multiply 40 ft-lbs of power on the crank side into over 2000 ft-lbs of power on the socket side. Maximum capacity is almost 2400 ft-lbs of torque..! Most 1″ drive air impacts cannot make this much power. I have yet to find a lug nut on a truck that this tool cannot easily remove. A 10 year old kid can remove lug nuts with this tool that a strong man couldn’t budge with a hand lug wrench. Why spend about 00.00 on a impact, a 2-stage air compressor big enough to run it, air hoses, regulator, and sockets when this tool will do the job just as well? Even better, you can take this anyplace you go. Your big impact and compressor will sure do you a lot of good back at your garage when you’re out on the road someplace with tire problems, right? Just put this torque multiplier in your truck, and have it ready when you need it the most. I have 2 sets of these available. The difference is the socket sizes. I’ve owned an Isuzu NPR truck for several years. Isuzu puts some HUGE 41mm lug nuts on their trucks. I would always have to run back down to the tire store to have “Bubba” loosen them up so I could take the tires off. If I had a flat on the front end, I would be totally

Why is my air conditioning vent constantly blowing?

I have a central air conditioner that cools fine. When I raise the temperature setting I can hear the unit outside click off yet when I place my hand in front of an inside vent I can still feel some air blowing. When I look outside the unit is silent and the fan on top is not spinning so I feel that the unit is off. Why does it seem air is still coming from my vents inside? Can it be a draft from them or is another fan perhaps still running even if the compressor is not? Even when I manually turn the until "off" on the thermostat I can still feel air blowing. Thanks!

How do you identify what type of power your commercial building has? or what type do I have?

Inside the fuse panel it indicates:
Type 1 (I assume this is the fuse box style/type)
200 amp Max
120/240V AC 1 phase 3 wire
208Y/120V AC 1 phase 3 wire
So would this be identified as a 3 phase 240V or a 3 phase 440V? also, is it a delta or a wye…or do I even need to know that before I purchase a new screw type air compressor for industrial use. I am in one of those stripstyle commercial warehouse buildings if that helps. Thanks in advance

Plugging in 2 mini Fridges+ AC in my Room?

I’ve got me a large bedroom and I have lots of things plugged in in here. So I have a mini fridge and I just got another one cause it was at a garage sale I plan to store food in in and drinks in the other. I also have a Window air Conditioner I use. As far as I know, their all on the same curcuit cause one of the fridges is plugged in in a outlet across the room, and the AC in it’s own outlet. But when any of their compressors kicks in, the light plugged into an outlet dims.

I have computers and a TV, a stereo, etc them sensitive electronics. I do plug the sensitive electronics into a powerstip/circuit protector, and not the refrigerators/AC. But now I can’t find no outlet for my 2nd fridge, only one available really is the one with the WIndow Air Conditioner, its a 5,000 BTU 625 Watt Model. Would it be ok if I was to plug the 2nd refrigerator into that one with the AC? The Refrigerator is a small cube sized Goldstar that uses 1.35 Amps. Now I ain’t concerned with blowing circuits or nothin like that, this room has 20 Amps. But just wandering it wouldn’t damage the Compressor of either the AC or the Fridge now would it? Or any other concerns? Thanks you I appreciate any help Y’all cam give me.

Is the United States going to crumble from within? Are we headed for disaster?

Please don’t argue or bicker, finger point or cast blame, I’ve heard enough… WE as Americans are screwed, WE need to seek and find answers, WE need solutions really quick, otherwise, we will all find ourselves in chaos. Maybe that’s what our country needs is a total meltdown, to get all these dirty scumbag politicans on the same page to help us help ourselves… I just can’t see anything happening before something really bad happens and then it is all too late. The people will suffer dearly, and the country will never be the same again…chaos. Mark my word, it is coming, something you never thought would happen in America, something that you’d never expect. I hope it doesn’t happen, but WE all need to be prepared…. get ready now, make a plan, and plan for the worse.

Help with Workmans Compensation Case!!!!!?

Hi, first I will let everyone know the story. I was working for a rebuilding shop for around 6 months. One day I was asked to help a repairman from another company lift a huge part for our industrial size air compressor in the shop. At the time I felt a littl pinch and some light headedness. As the day wore on I began to feel really sick, it was flu season so that was my first thought. I went home early and took a nap. When I woke up the sick feeling was gone but I was limping. I woke up the next day and couldnt even stand out of bed, sweating, fainting as soon as I stood up. I went to E.R in a wheelchair because I couldnt walk, had MRI done and morphine shots, found out I had a pinched sciatic, slipped disc and stenosis. I didnt walk for nearly 2 months. Im only 21 years old. I was fired for not showing up to work even though I had been in contact with them about the incident and had doctors notes and documentation proving my leave. I didnt even know I ws fired, I found out after I had called them to make sure everything was still okay. My union rep told me not to fill out an incident report, that it was not neccessary. Long story short he screwed me. I did not and do not have health insurance. I racked up over 00 in medical bills and have Matco calling me everyday about 00 in tools I purchased for my job which I had intended on keeping. I contacted a local lawyer and he accepted my case. We went over all the paperwork and documentation and paperwork and then he took them to court for workers compensation. After 3 rescheduled court dates and no results I get a letter. My lawyer tells me it has been rescheduled again but he is in contact with the insurance company and is expecting to make a settlement. He says however that he thinks it will be only around 00 because we have no way to prove I have an ongoing disability. So what should I do, I mean this just doesnt seem right to me??? He told me he wanted them to pay for my physical therapy(which I need right now so I can start working again), lost wages, and my medical bills. Then I get a letter saying that is all I will get, im extremely upset and worried about this because I dont know what I should do or what I can do. Please help, this stuff is ruining my life before I even start living!!!!!

What to get my difficult dad (He's a secluded mechanic) for Christmas?

I don’t have much money at all, but I really wanted to buy him a new air compressor…I wasn’t able to save up enough money, so that is out.

I’ve gotten him a screw driver every year since I was 5, so no tools.

He doesn’t wear watches, he doesn’t talk much, he just watches TV and works…

If your child only made you a gift (say, brownies or cookies or something like that) would you be upset about it? Be honest now.

Does my Volvo's compressor clutch have lifetime warranty?

I have a 2001 Volvo V70 station wagon. I think my compressor clutch is bad. There are some for sale that have lifetime warranty. Does my compressor clutch that is stock have lifetime warranty? Or how do i check if my compressor clutch is bad? AC works for several mins and then stops blowing cold air.
